MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor of Engineering and/or Post Graduation in Business Management/Supply Chain/Material Management/Finance/Law
Experience
• Previous experience in delivering Engineering Procurement/Contract management activities for public and/or private sector organizations
• 10 Years of Procurement/Material Management/Finance related to Aircraft Maintenance
• Out of the above experience, 3 years of experience in BFE/SFE/SPE and in Aircraft OEM environment is essential. Additionally, Procurement experience in Aircraft Component Shop Visit/Total Component Support to the fleet through third party Service is preferred
• Experienced in Complex Project Procurement
• Experienced in evaluating Procurement Project based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) including the using various models like NPVs
• Experience in Risk Assessment Procurement Events
• Proven expertise in operationally reviewing supplier performance
• Experienced in handling internal customer feedback effectively
• Experienced in Commercial bid evaluation activities and processes
Knowledge / Skills
• Ability to interpret technical data or manuals like IPC/CMM/AMM/TSM or any other Related Documents
• Understanding the Aircraft Engineering Practices
• Clear understanding of certifications related to aircraft maintenance
• Procurement Processes (Floating Tender to the execution of the contract)
• Strong Para legal skills including familiarity with the Provisions in the contract
• Ability to review Contract for Procurement of Product, Services or both
• Risk assessment related to Liability, Indemnity, Insurance, Intellectual Property Rights, termination term of the agreement
• Advanced skills in MS Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access)
• Familiarities with aviation software modules like AMOS, MXi, Oracle, SAP etc.
• Skill for Project Management including Gantt Chart and creating project charts in the multiple suppliers’ environment and ability to interpret the task for relationship (for example one to one, one to many)
• Ability to support the development of supplier performance metrics and contract performance systems and in briefing Senior Management using Key performance and Performance Indicators if appropriate
• Ability to support the establishing and managing of ongoing relationships with key suppliers
Certificate / License required
• CCM/CIPS/CILT preferable but not essential
