MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To maintain and oversee the operations of flydubai’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the facilities operations technicians in resolving service requests including but not limited to HVAC related issues in a timely manner.
- Conducts and facilitates Toolbox Meetings with external contractors, in the absence of the Facilities Management supervisor, ensuring that planned activities and issues are addressed and monitored effectively.
- Documents all the activity log and maintenance records of the facility assets to ensure that they are readily available when needed.
- Reviews and ensures that all Work Orders, including those related to HVAC, are completed and closed in accordance with department Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conducts routine inspections to ensure that third party contractors, including those servicing HVAC systems, perform maintenance tasks correctly and safely according to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.
- Conducts routine inspections of all flydubai facilities to ensure a risk-free environment.
- Maintains and improves the overall health, safety & environment of all facilities, with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Maintains customer relations with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with the performance and maintenance of HVAC and MEP systems, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Troubleshoots all HVAC and mechanical issues and abnormalities, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Education Level
· High School Diploma
Certifications (if applicable)
· Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation certification
Licenses (if applicable)
· UAE driver’s license is an advantage
Languages
· Fluent in English
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Professional Experience
· In-depth knowledge of all types of HVAC system specially Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Chillers.
· Experience Trane Chillers and the Chiller Management System is an advantage.
· Basic knowledge of Building Management System operation.
· Proficient in Water Treatment System such as Reverse Osmosis.
· Well-versed in different types of pumps and motors related to water distribution system.
· Knowledgeable about various fans and blowers.
· Familiar with basic electrical system and capable of understanding Programable Logic Control (PLC).
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
